Inflammation is the cornerstone of the body’s healing response. We’ve all experienced inflammation when we’ve rolled an ankle, broken a bone, or bumped our heads. And it’s a necessary, helpful response in these situations, bringing vital nourishment and immune cells into the area to essentially protect and heal the area of damage to the body.
